Seasonal Riding Sessions

Each Seasonal Riding Session is $1,020 for the 12 weeks (Summer Session - 8 or 10 week blocks may be purchased). It is your responsibility to schedule make-ups prior to the end of the session. Availability cannot be guaranteed for more than one make-up lesson. If you wish to pay weekly, the cost is $95 per lesson, but your spot is not guaranteed and scheduling must be done on a week by week basis. Mead Farm reserves the right to substitute a comparable instructor when needed. Please contact office for availability and Registration Form.

Riders will have one week after the session ends to make up missed lesson, but we recommend that you reschedule them as soon as possible. There are no make ups for "No Shows". During the Winter Session only, any unused lessons due to weather cancellations that cannot be made up during the make-up week(s) will be carried over to the Spring Session.

Inclement Weather

Lessons are "on as scheduled" unless you are notified by Mead Farm. We will contact you if riding lessons are canceled for that day. Horsemanship will be offered in lieu of riding.

Horsemanship classes are offered in lieu of riding on days of inclement weather. The first horsemanship class offered for each session is mandatory ($95 / $85 block rate). Each subsequent horsemanship class offered is optional at the $70 rate.

Cancellation Policy

In order to cancel a lesson, clients must call the office at 203-322-4984 or email us at at least 24 hours prior to a scheduled lesson. Please be aware that lessons canceled less than 24 hours prior to a lesson time and "No Shows" will be charged in full.
