The GRTA is
dedicated to preserving and maintaining the
century-old system of trails, encouraging horseback
riding
and protecting the ever precious open space in backcountry.
These trails hold together the mosaic of the green
areas of Greenwich and adjacent towns. The
more than 150 miles
of trails are on properties belonging to the Audubon,
Greenwich Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy,
the Boys Scouts and the Boys & Girls Club, as
well as
numerous landowners who graciously allow passage
through their properties.

Kate Stoupas
has been involved in the photography industry for
thirty years. She has worked in film and television,
was a ski photographer, wedding photographer and
also does family
studies and children photography. Most recently,
she has
moved into horse photography and published a book
on
women and horses. On most days, you can find her
photographing the horses and their riders.
